Simply Customize It 1.2.0: From Reading to Writing

Simply Customize It 1.2.0: From Reading to Writing

I've been finalizing a new app, released this last week, that tracks my TBR (to be read) book piles whether electronic or physical. With space while waiting for the app to be approved I started thinking what from Simply TBR might be helpful to my other apps. And that's the heart of this update. Then a user email came in and I decided to push it out a little sooner.

Profile Settings

This is what was moved over from the Simply TBR. The templates browse still has sorting, grouping, and filtering while the other browses still have sorting. But they've been updated and you can now set your custom choices as default right from the sheet (button Save as Default right at the bottom). You choose how the Simply Customize It lists look when you load it. And if you change it that's okay... it's remembered as you tap through the app. Close and return... your defaults and not mine will be used.

And if you want to see all your defaults at a glance go to Profile and look in the Settings section. It now has collapsible sections for each browse: Templates, Categories, Screens, Groups, and Devices. No more needing to reset your view every time you launch.

A Subscription Fix

One of you reached out (thank you) to mention their subscription on one device wasn't being recognized on another. The fix is in this build and I've added better handling so it's more reliable going forward.

A Few Smaller Things

Recently a 2-star review came in which mentioned app crashes and although specific feedback was limited it prompted me to do a sweep anyway. A few other small fixes made it in too including realizing the scroll area might be too small on phones using dynamic text so I made onboarding steps 2 and 4 fully scrollable.

As always, if something feels off or isn't working the way you'd expect, please reach out. I'd love to hear from you.

Until next time, Kyra 💕

Did this save you time?
