Simply Uncover It 1.1.2: A Softer Landing
A user's data container wasn't opening in one of my other apps a week ago and while debugging that I realized I should build a proper safety net... so now... rolling out to all my apps if an app's data ever fails to load you now get a clear window with a button to email me the error instead of the app just closing on you.
A Safety Net
If the app's data ever fails to open, you'll now see a message along with a button that emails me the error directly. No more guessing what went wrong or losing your place without knowing why.
A Cap on the Board
My daughter found she could push the game board size well past where it should reasonably stop. There's a cap now, with a warning before you hit it.
Image Sharing
There was issues, on macOS, sharing your finished game result... so I tracked it down and it's fixed.
Faster Subscriptions Recognition
I noticed, in another app, there was a delay in recognizing a purchased or changed subscription. So I audited this app for the same.
And Beyond
Along with a batch of smaller things mostly behind the scenes: I moved more shared logic (menus, settings, some review and device-related code) into a base package that all my apps pull from, which should make future updates smoother across the board. The keyboard dismiss button, in iOS, is now available more broadly. Alert buttons on the Mac now show the correct accent color. Plus I added an acknowledgement for where the original idea behind this game came from... it was already shared on the landing page but now it's in app too.
