Simply Uncover It Update: A Quiet Fix for Peace of Mind

This update to Simply Uncover It is a quiet one... but an important one.

While I didn’t see any bugs in the app myself, I made two small changes behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly and to stay consistent with updates across my other apps.

Removing the App Icons (Just in Case)

I’d been hearing about a crash that could happen in some apps when trying to display the app icon inside the app itself. It didn’t happen in Simply Uncover It (and no one reported it), but it did pop up in both Simply Customize It and Simply Remember It... and that was enough for me.

Just to be safe, I removed any internal references to the app icon.

You probably won’t notice the difference… and that’s the goal.

Game Settings: Now With a Friendly Apply Button

The game settings screen still works the same way letting you create multiple game configurations, auto-saving changes, and switching between them easily.

That said, now when you go in to view or tweak your settings, your current game won’t reset automatically.

Instead, I added a new Apply button that activates only when your current settings differ from the ones in use. Tap it when you’re ready to start fresh with the new setup. Ignore it if you’re just poking around and want to return to your current game unchanged.

And yes. It does confirm with you before it resets your game… because no one likes to lose progress mid-match.

No big feature drops here. Simply a little polish and peace of mind.
