About Simply Match It

Simply Match It is a quick-fire matching game born from a Hacking with Swift livestream, Paul Hudson's Twinmoji project, that Kyra expanded into a full app with solo, three, and four-player support along with expanded game sizes and a wide range of emoji sets. Two cards appear, each with a grid of emoji, and exactly one emoji appears on both. Players race to tap it first: right answers score, wrong ones (or a timeout) cost a point, and first to the target score wins.

It's built for short sessions rather than marathon play. The kind of game you can start between errands or hand to a kid for five minutes of calm, ad-free fun. No ads, no tracking, no pressure to keep playing.

Free play covers the core game for two players with the classic card sets. A Premium unlock adds solo mode, three and four player games, themed emoji sets, and per-player customization that include names, button colors, board size, win score, and speed... all saved and synced quietly through iCloud.

About the Developer

Kyra is a solo indie developer at SimplyKyra LLC, building calm-tech Apple apps from the Pacific Northwest. She has a computing science background in bioinformatics, stepped away from Windows enterprise development to raise her daughters, and returned to building through blogging and app development. Her apps include Simply TBR, Simply Remember It, Simply Customize It, and two ad-free games, Simply Match It and Simply Uncover It.
