Ended the month with two power outages (hiking light on a water filled vinegar bottle for the win) and some pumpkin carving.* --- ## 📱 App Updates ### [Simply Remember It](https://www.simplykyra.com/simply-remember-it/) *When did you last…? Now you know with no second-guessing required.* [App Store: Remember It](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/simply-remember-it/id6749085897?ref=simplykyra.com) - I’ve been diving into **widgets** so your tracked tasks can appear right on your Home Screen. No updates this month but I've been making steady progress. ### [Simply Customize It](https://www.simplykyra.com/simply-customize-it/) *Make your reMarkable truly yours with custom templates and screens.* [App Store: Customize It](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/simply-customize-it/id6443862161?ref=simplykyra.com) - The work on *Simply Remember It* led to updated navigation flow in both it and *Simply Customize It*. This update went live [on the 20th with version 1.0.17](https://www.simplykyra.com/updates/simply-customize-it-1-0-17-smoother-navigation-and-macos-improvements/). - Thanks to community feedback I realized templates on the reMarkable Paper Pro Move needed new dimensions (814×1454 px) while screen images still use the official size. [Version 1.0.18](https://www.simplykyra.com/updates/simply-customize-it-1-0-18-updated-template-dimensions-for-remarkable-move-support/) went live on the 28th. - This last week I received both an email and a 1-star review for the same issue. Default templates were lost when the *Upload* button was pressed before importing. I quickly pushed [version 1.0.19](https://www.simplykyra.com/updates/simply-customize-it-1-0-19-why-the-upload-button-just-got-smarter/) and it went live on the 31st! It locks the button until your first import or sync successfully completes with your reMarkable. - In addition, I moved the [changelog](https://www.simplykyra.com/updates/simply-customize-it-changelog/) out of the FAQs (it was getting long!) and refined the [FAQs](https://www.simplykyra.com/updates/simply-customize-it-faqs/) to make it clearer. --- ## 🎃 On the Blog It was definitely a Halloween month! I don’t usually dress up, but this year I joined a local business meetup group that hosted two themed events. Once widgets are dialed in I can expand the system to other apps more easily if there’s interest. I’ve also had a request to add the ability to transfer templates between devices in *Simply Customize It* something I plan to explore further.
